Daily Insights – 5 January 2015

This is what we all seek.  I just got done doing a post on the other site but there is relavence here and so I’ll share the link and write a few words about what helps me from it on this part of my journey 😉

Insights Into the Journey of ACIM January 5, 2015

The part of the chapter I was reading is called the Origins of Separation.  Myself I think oh thank you God for the clear cut examples I have had.  There is nothing that points out a schism better than addiction.  What we want we often as co-dependents most fear.  What the addict thinks they most want and what they have made their god to be is as different as night and day and they fear the thing they want most.  Their little god is often the bottle combined with the ego and fear and ours being ego and fear.

What it all boils down to is that acceptance and forgiveness or atonement are key with our Higher Power and our relationship with Him. Sounds familiar doesn’t it?

Take what you like and leave the rest – Blessings and Peace to all.

About Adrienne

I am Canadian born, for those of you needing clarification. I was raised in Minnesota, The Land of 10,000 Lakes, Multiple Musical Geniuses, Lake Wobegon, and really, really cold winters. Writing, Music and Photography are my passions. My current companion is my camera though my guitars and the piano are always close by and often consulted. Inspiration is everywhere and so is beauty. I now reside in Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada. I love to write, ponder and give back what I have learned in my journey with the hope that it will benefit others. www.spiritualitythinkaboutit.org www.12stepsthinkaboutit.org www.labyrinthphotos.com
